WWE superstar Rhea Ripley, speaking to indiatoday.in, shed light on winning the RAW Women's Title at WrestleMania 37 and how she looks at her future in the promotion. The 24-year-old Australian wrestler believes she can dominate the women's division in the years to come.

Rhea Ripley played football until she was 14 back home in Australia. But her love for the beautiful sport withered off when she went on a holiday to Queensland where she watched wrestlers in action. It didn't take long for Rhea Ripley, who conceded that she wasn't interested in grades at school, to decide she wanted to pursue wrestling.
After making waves at Riot City Wrestling, Rhea Ripley made an impression in WWE trials in Australia. A ticket to the most-followed wrestling promotion brand didn't take long as Ripley got into WWE in her early twenties.

Her rise in WWE has been phenomenal as well. From having a memorable stint with NXT, Rhea Ripley has gone on to become the WWE Raw Women's Champion, establishing herself as one of the biggest stars in the women's division.
Having become the RAW Women's Champion at 24 is a staggering feat but Rhea Ripley isn't going to stop there. The feeling of having won at WrestleMania in front of fans is still sinking in for the Australian superstar but she is looking forward to more success.
Speaking to indiatoday.in in an exclusive interview, Rhea Ripley says she is chasing history, greatness.
"I feel like every day it sinks in a little bit more but it has not completely sunk in. It was just such an incredible feeling for me, especially after my first one being in front of zero fans. It was a really special feeling. It was like my once in WrestleMania moment. I faced Asuka, someone who I wanted to take on for a long time. And I also became the Raw Women's champion," Rhea said.
"Everything I wanted, happened at the same time. It was really hard to sort of not crack under pressure and stay confident in that moment because I was so overwhelmed by so many emotions," Rhea added.
Right from her childhood, Rhea Ripley has been going against conventional wisdom -- lack of belief in setting specific goals. She said it is a formula that has worked well for her so far and she doesn't want to change it.
"I don't really set too many goals. I find that when you set goals and reach them, you're like 'oh I did it' and then you just stop. For me, I just want to see how far I can go. I just want to keep pushing myself to the absolute limit and keep striving for greatness. Just to see how far my body and mind can take it," Rhea said.
"Honestly, I feel I want to take over, take over everything and that's sort of been my mindset my entire life. I feel like I have accomplished this much with that mindset. I guess, WrestleMania would have been one of the goals but I don't want to stop there. I want to keep going, keep making history and show everyone who Rhea Ripley is," she added.
Can't wait to punch Asuka, Flair on the face
Rhea Ripley will defend her WWE Raw Women's title on Sunday's WrestleMania Backlash in a triple-threat match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. While she has been dominating The Empress of Tomorrow in the recent past, she has unfinished business with The Queen. It was Flair to whom she lost the NXT title at WrestleMania 36 and she did not get a rematch.

Well, on Sunday, The Nightmare is keen on punching The Queen and The Empress of Tomorrow.
"I think it's going to be a fantastic match. I like to be in the ring with Charlotte and Asuka. It's always a struggle and a fight. But I can't wait to punch them both in the face. That's definitely a pro.
"Of course, there is always redemption in that. Losing the NXT Women's Championship to Charlotte was something I didn't want to happen. This is sort of one chance to redeem myself. And get back at her for beating me last year. This is my one shot.
Hopefully, there is more down the road. But this is now a chance to get my payback, to get my revenge. Hopefully, I could pull a 1...2...3 over on Charlotte," she added.
The current and future of women's division
Regardless of the result on Sunday at WrestleMania Backlash, Rhea is set for greater things in the WWE. And she agrees that a group of former NXT stars, including WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair, have the potential to rule the women's division in the coming years.

"It's so weird for me to think that I could help carry the women's division forward. It's so crazy for me to think that way.I do see that happening with people like Bianca Belair, Raquel Gonzalez, Dakota Kai. I see it happening with all young girls, I do hope that one day all the NXT girls come up and we carry the women's division forward.
"We can do exactly what the men have done. But it's a crazy thought. A little girl from South Australia, who just loved wrestling, now I am here as the RAW Women's Champion and see myself as the current and future of the women's division. It's exciting and yes, I do see it happening.," Rhea added.
